Adaptive-assistive technology lab

The Special Education program has an adaptive and assistive technology lab in Jordan Hall 211 that's used for training special education teachers in the use of special devices for students with special needs.  Undergraduate and graduate special education courses are taught in the lab.

The lab has adaptive and assistive communication devices, as well as specially equipped computers, to allow children with special needs to have access to computers. Such devices range from eye-blink switches to track-ball devices to adapted toys.

For more information, contact Dr. Jeffrey Conklin at 706-568-2155 or send e-mail to conklin_jeffrey@colstate.edu.
