B.A. French with Teacher Certification

Program Description

The secondary education French program at CSU prepares teachers with a solid French education knowledge base and provides practical expertise with diverse populations in using that knowledge.

Career Opportunities

The B.A. in Secondary French leads to entry-level certification in Georgia to teach French in grades 7-12.  

Admission Requirements

Admission into the Teacher Education Program.  Applications can be obtained in the College of Education's Office of Services & Field Experiences in Jordan Hall 107 or call 706-568-2191 or 706-568-2194.

Certification Requirements

To be eligible for recommendation by CSU for a Georgia professional teaching certificate, students must complete a rigorous program of coursework.  They also must meet certain other criteria required by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission. Please contact the COE's Office of Services & Field Experiences for an application at 706-568-2191 or 706-568-2194.
