Program description
The Non-Traditional Masters Degree (M.Ed.) program
provides an opportunity to become a teacher for those who possess an
undergraduate degree in a discipline that's certifiable in
Georgia. Available areas are: middle grades education - language
arts-social studies; middle grades education - math-science;
secondary education: social science - history; secondary education:
English-language arts; secondary education: mathematics; secondary
education: science; special education - behavior disorders; special
education - general curriculum; special education and mental
retardation.
Career opportunities
Satisfactory completion of the Non-Traditional M.Ed. program
leads to recommendation for teacher certification in the appropriate
field at the T-5 level in Georgia.
