Program description

The Pre-School Special Education Endorsement Program is an add-on to an existing certificate. Required coursework is listed below. Please check with Dr. Conklin for any additional requirements.

• SPED 5205 Nature & Characteristics of Exceptional Learner (3 credit hours)
• SPED 5285 Characteristics of the Preschool Child with Disabilities (3 credit hours)
• SPED 5286 Teaching the Preschool Child with Disabilities (3 credit hours)
• SPED 6265 Advanced Assessment of Exceptional Children/Youth (3 credit hours)
• SPED 6145 Language Instruction for Children with Disabilities (3 credit hours)
