Teacher Education Program?
Stop by the College of Education's Office of Services and Field Experiences
in Jordan Hall 107 and pick up a copy of the

or schedule an appointment with an advisor there to review
the requirements.

Program?
As soon as possible! Try to complete the requirements
for admission to the Teacher Education Program during the
first semester of your sophomore year.
4. How do I get information about the GACE Basic Skills
Assessment?

Experiences in Jordan Hall 107 and pick up a copy of
the registration booklet for the Georgia Assessments for the
Certification of Educators exam, which is designed to assess

automatically exempts you from being required to take the GACE Basic Skills Assessment for admission to the Teacher
Education Program.
5. How can I find a sequence or timeline for when the
courses in my degree program will be offered?
Some of the College of Education departmental websites
have a schedule of course offerings posted. You can also
check with your advisor in the Office of COE Services and

the CSU Web site in ISIS, through CougarNet or by talking to your
advisor.

advance of your planned graduation date. Be sure and review

employment in a school system.
